ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MEMBER INTERACTION & COMMUNICATIONS PLAN

PI KAPPA ALPHA SOUTH FLORIDA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION 

MEMBER INTERACTION & COMMUNICATIONS PLAN

Strategy: Expand and improve the South Florida Alumni Association’s relationships with local Pi Kappa Alpha alumni living in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, so that the alumni may participate in and contribute to the growth and development of the association.

Core:

• Enhance connections between alumni and local undergraduates;
• Enhance outreach to graduating seniors;
• Establish a consistent communications program to keep alumni informed about developments at Pi Kappa Alpha and engaged in the advancement of the Fraternity;
• Increase e-newsletter open and click rates to 50%;
• Increase paid Alumni Association membership to 50 members by June 30, 2019;
• Keep Alumni engaged with the Fraternity throughout their entire lifetime;
• Plan and execute four to six alumni events throughout the year in addition to monthly networking events and football tailgate festivities;

Secondary:

• Create a stronger “culture of membership” for the Alumni Association across all internal and external constituencies;
• Enable Members to Realize the full benefits of lifelong brotherhood;
• Enable the General Fraternity to benefit from lifelong association with brothers;
• Establish alumni mentoring opportunities;
• Establish goals for alumni participation and level of giving for alumni annual fund;
• Showcase alumni relations at athletic events;
• Strengthen the long-term sustainability of the Fraternity to deliver its mission;
• Sustain an ongoing connection between the General Fraternity and its alumni members after graduation;

Tertiary:

• Connect Acquire and communicate with alumni in an effective way;
• Educate Engage and network alumni with relevant programming;
• Experience Lifelong Value and Benefit from the Fraternal Connection Fraternity;
• Maintain personal relationships established as collegians;
• Provide time efficient volunteer opportunities that benefit alumni and collegians to serve
• Pi Kappa Alpha and our communities;
• Receive Value from Members (time, talent & treasure) and experiences in perpetuity.
